One reason is that chair massage was developed by David Palmer who was a strong proponent and educator of a ancient Japanese style of massage called Amma. Like many of the Eastern styles of massage, the techniques of Amma massage are applied in a systematic and sequential fashion. So as Palmer developed chair massage he carried that approach with him, referring to this approach as a "massage kata" rather than a massage routine.
1. Strip Chair: The first step is use a staple remover to gently remove the fabric, trim and staples. Now mark or number each piece of fabric that was removed and take notes on how the armchair was assembled and where each piece of fabric was secured. If the armchairs has panels then rip them off. Now, remove the padding that restrict access to the frame and set aside the pieces that can be reused. Once stripped, recheck the frame and remove any staples if there.
The Sienna sectional is another piece which looks so extremely comfortable. The minute you see it you'll want to try it out. One side of the sectional is a chaise which is perfect for relaxing in. The heavy cushioning is what makes this so comfortable. There is a 4- and 5-piece sectional available, and they are priced at $3, 299 to $3, 799.
